Race for Shelter – June 3, 2011

Join us as we bring together different members of the Vancouver real estate community. This is the perfect opportunity to give back to those in need. So bring your sense of humor, your creativity, and your healthy competitive spirit – let’s see what we can accomplish! 

Race for Shelter gives you the opportunity to strengthen team morale within your organization and network with customers and colleagues in your industry. The registration cost for each corporate team is $2000 and for each student team is $1200. Teams can be made up of 5-6 individuals from your company. Net proceeds go to Union Gospel Mission who have been providing assistance to the hungry, hurting, and homeless in our community since 1940.

Teams

  • Each team consists of 6 people;
  • Anyone working in or associated with the real estate industry can enter a team;
  • Each organization can enter up to 3 teams.

Entry fee – $2000 (corporate team) $1200 (student team):
Please make cheque payable to UBC MBA Humanitarian Club
Union Gospel Mission will issue the charitable tax receipt

  • Special T-shirt for each participant
  • DVD with pictures from the event – one per team
  • Refreshments upon arrival
  • BBQ Dinner: Join us for our closing ceremonies and BBQ to celebrate the winners and enjoy a well deserved meal

Platinum Level – $5000

  • Logo on the participants T-Shirts;
  • Logo at the top of the password protected website with the pictures from the event; 
  • Logo on the welcome slide which stays during the reception and opening;
  • Logo on two exclusive checkpoints. There is a limited number of checkpoints;
  • Logo on one exclusive surprise challenge, detour or roadblock;
  • Logo on all Maps, invitations and printed materials;
  • Logo on Banners/Posters on the day of the event;
  • Logo on the DVD that each team will receive to commemorate the event; 
  • You will be acknowledged at the reception.

Gold Level – $3000

  • Small logo on the participants T-Shirts; 
  • Small logo at the bottom of the password protected website with the pictures from the event; 
  • Small logo on the welcome slide which stays during the reception and opening;
  • Logo on 1 exclusive checkpoint. There is a limited number of checkpoints;
  • Small logo on all Maps, invitations and printed materials;
  • Small logo on Banners/Posters on the day of the event;
  • Small logo on the DVD that each team will receive to commemorate the event; 
  • You will be acknowledged at the reception.

Silver Level – $1000

  • Company name on the participants T-Shirts; 
  • Company name at the bottom of the password protected website with the pictures from the event; 
  • Company name on the welcome slide which stays during the reception and opening;
  • Company name on all Maps, invitations and printed materials;
  • Company name on Banners/Posters on the day of the event;
  • Company name on the DVD that each team will receive to commemorate the event; 

Bronze Level – $500

  • Company name on the participants T-Shirts; 
  • Company name at the bottom of the password protected website with the pictures from the event; 
  • Company name on Banners/Posters on the day of the event;

In Kind Contribution

In kind contributors will receive exposure adequate with the sponsorship levels listed above.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

If you are positive, energetic and motivated to make a difference – you are welcome to help out with various aspects of the race.
You will be part of a great team and have more fun than you expect!
